Chapter Philanthropy

During the Winter 2014 Academic Semester the Kappa Beta chapter completed 2230 hours of community service and raised $7,404.62 to donate to our philanthropies.

Kappa Beta hosts several events that are open to our campus and the community. Some of the past year's events include the following:

Rock Against Rape

Every year Sigma Kappa pairs up with the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon and the members of the Eyes Wide Open club to host this event in order to shed light and bring awareness on rape and sexual assault. This event is free for all of campus and the community.

Golf Outing

This event is open to all family members, the community, businesses, and students. Participants of this event can either

play golf or sponsor a hole. All money raised goes towards our philanthropies!

Thanksgiving Dinner

Right before the holiday, students and faculty are invited to pay a small fee to join us in eating a Thanksgiving feast. We host this event at our house and all is welcome! All money raised goes towards our philanthropies.

Pancake Breakfast

For a small fee, students and faculty have the chance to eat breakfast with us at our house. Each year we have a different theme to incorporate. In previous years we have done Breakfast At Tiffany's and an Olympic Game themed breakfast. All money raised goes towards our philanthropies!
